Basic Image Editing in Wordpress 2.9

The Wordpress Team is working on new upcoming wordpress 2.9 and soon it will be released as a stable release. We have got the news that there will be two important changes in new wordpress 2.9. The one is about image editing and other one is for database.
In this release basic online image editor is being included with the aid of JavaScript. You can crop the image, rotate it counter-clockwise and clockwise, flip it horizontally and vertically, undo and redo the image.
The second important feature in new wordpress 2.9 is to repair the database. A special file will be included in wordpress 2.9 to repair the tables in database in case of errors.
We will also see change in ‘excerpt_more‘ filter to wp_trim_excerpt() function, which will allow developers to change excerpt ‘[...]‘ more string.
