Apple has just released iTunes 11.1 for Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. This version contains many bug fixes, iOS 7 support and iTunes Radio support. If you are planning to upgrade your device to iOS 7, this is the must-have software for you because the older versions don’t support the today’s iOS release.
Apple announced iOS 7 back in June and finally its release day has come following several beta releases. Apple releases beta versions to all those who have account with Apple’s iOS dev portal. The main purpose of these beta releases, as you know, is to fix the bugs before the final and public build and more over is to allow the developers to make their apps compatible with the coming iOS.
Apple has just released the new and major update of iTunes 11 which is available for download on Apple’s official site. If you visit the iTunes’s official page, you will see the download link for iTunes 11. But in case you still see the old version, then you’ll have to wait few hours because the change propagation may take some time for your region.
After a month delay, iTunes 11 release is expected tomorrow. WSJ reports that it will be available for download Thursday, however we have still no confirmation from any official channel.
Apple has just seeded iTunes 10.5 beta 9 to developers, which can be downloaded logging into Apple’s Developer Program. Since the date of”Let’s Talk iPhone” event is approaching near, iTunes 10.5 beta 9 seems the last beta before it goes public. Apple is expected to release the final and public build of iTunes 10.5 (or may be iTunes 11) in the first half of October.
Oh, Look! Here is another beta release of iTunes! This time Apple introduces a new feature in iTunes 10.5 beta 6.1 which is called iTunes Match. iTunes Match feature allows users to upload the songs to Apple’ cloud.
iTunes 10.4.1 has just been released by Apple bringing fixes for minor bugs and performance related issues. iTunes 10.4.1 is available for download from Apple’s iTunes download page for both Mac and Windows machines.
