Control PC Remotely with Twitter
Wow, this is really amazing. Now you can control and access your PC (Windows & Mac) remotely using the social site Twitter. You can even get the images of your PC with this software to see what is being done on your computer in your absence. You can monitor your children easily and instantly using your twitter account. It is suggested that you make a separate account of twitter for this purpose and don’t make the tweets public of that account.
The original software is TweetMyPc for windows which has been designed for Mac Users as well.
How To Use TweetMyMac to Control Mac
- Make a new account (suppose UsmanMac) on twitter and protect the feeds. (Recommended)
- Follow your main twitter account using the newly created account.
- Download and run TweetMyMac.
- Configure the software and enter required details including twitter account details.
- To control your Mac send it a direct message with a command (either using the direct message option on twitter or by writing a tweet of the form “d UsmanMac command”)
- Your Mac will reply to some commands (like retrieving IP address or screenshots) using it’s account so you will probably want to set your main twitter account to follow your Mac.
Important Note: You should ONLY follow Twitter users you trust to control your Mac with the Mac’s account. Any user your Mac account is following will be able to control your Mac with a direct message.
