Snowbreeze 2.3 to Jailbreak iOS 4.3 Available for Download

Posted in: Jailbreak

Snowbreeze 2.3 has just been released by iH8sn0w to jailbreak iOS 4.3 on all idevices except iPad 2. At present jailbreaking iOS 4.3 with Sn0wbreeze 2.3 is tethered meaning you have to connect your device with PC on every reboot to get jailbroken state.

MobileSubstrate is still broken in iOS 4.3 jailbroken device and all those Cydia apps which require MobileSubstrate won’t work.

Moreover Ultrasn0w does not support iOS 4.3 firmware version yet. So all those users who rely on unlock should avoid to upgrade their devices to iOS 4.3.

Snowbreeze for iOS 4.3 is for Windows users only and it works similar to PwnageTool that is for Mac users. As we said above iOS 4.3 jailbreak is tethered at the moment, so you are required to run iBoot on every reboot to put your device into jaibroken state.

Sn0wbreeze is very simple to use. Download the latest version and cook a custom firmware. If you rely on unlock, use Baseband Protection mode. After you have successfully made the custom iPSW file, put your device into DFU mode and restore using iTunes.
