Firmware PR 1.2 for Nokia N900 is still Unofficial: Can Cause Damage

Yesterday we shared the news that a new firmware PR 1.2 is out for Nokia N900 device, but a tweet from nokconv (the official account of Nokia Conversation Blog) makes it clear that the new firmware is still unofficial and it can damage your N900. Can it do?

Many people have already updated their N900 phones and they didn’t face any problem. The experienced users say because firmware v1.2 is in testing phase, so it might create few problems  though the chances are very less.

So it is advised that you must wait for official release, or you can update your N900 at your own risk.

Update 1: Firmware 1.2 is now official. Here is the changelog.
