How to Recover Your Windows 7 ?

Windows 7 provides different types of options for recovery in different ways and in many situations. In windows 7, System recovery Options menu contains several options e.g., startup repair to fix those errors which you may encounter at the time of startup of your system and System Image Recovery option to restore the exact image of the hard disc etc.
Here are the available options which are provided within the Windows 7.
-
Startup Repair:
This program fixes certain errors due to which you can boot your system properly. It fixes any damaged and missed system files which may cause a problem in a normal startup. You may learn more about this option from here.
-
System Restore:
With this option you can restore your system to an earlier point. But first of all you will have to create a system restore point. Be careful, once you restore a point, you can not undo it. However with System Restore option your emails, documents and photos etc will remain intact.
-
System Image Recovery:
To use this option, first you will have to create an image of your hard disc partition. In this image all your files will be stored. In fact it will be the exact copy of your hard disc containing all the files, documents, pictures etc. It is recommended to store this image on external storage device rather than on another partition of the same hard disc.
-
Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool:
This option in Windows 7 scans your computer’s memory for errors. For more information, see Diagnosing memory problems on your computer. (Diagnosing-memory-problems-on-your-computer)
-
Command Prompt:
Advanced users can use Command Prompt to perform recovery-related operations and also run other command line tools for diagnosing and troubleshooting problems.
