Apple has rolled out a new iOS 4.1 beta 3 version for developers only. Though the official changelog is still unavailable, but the chances are Apple might have fixed the possible PDF exploit which is used by JailbreakMe 2.0 Star to jailbreak iPhone 4, 3G, 3GS and iPad.
On other side if you want to keep your iPhone jailbroken or rely on unlock, never update to this iOS 4.1 beta 3 because it contains a new baseband which is not unlockable yet.
It is to inform you that a new unlock tool will be released tonight to unlock iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS (new and old bootrom) on iOS 4.0 and iOS 4.0.1, and that new tool will not be compatible with this release.
