N900 Tips: How to Enable Portrait Mode on Nokia N900

Last week a new version of firmware for Nokia N900 was  released with many new features and improvements. One feature is the option to enable portrait mode in your browser. Be default this option is disabled.

If you don’t know how to enable the portrait mode, follow the simple steps for this purpose.

Open your browser and visit any page like www.shoutpedia.com

While the page is loading, click on the top bar of the page where the page title is displayed.

Click on the “Options” and then click on “Settings”.

Under the settings, check the “Enable Portrait” option and you can browse in your preferred mode.
