Play Audio, Video and MP3 files in Ubuntu

  • Go to Application and then to Add/Remove Program.
  • Show all available applications.
  • In the search box, type GST and you will see all available codecs and applications having word GST.
  • Tick the both GStreamer extra plugins and GStreamer ffmpeg plugins, confirm and install them. An internet connection is required to install these plugins.
