iPhone 4S, is believed to have a better camera, 8 Mega Pixels. The design would be nearly the same, add or minus a change in its thinness, and a few minor changes. Another change in this iPhone, would almost certainly be switched out for the blazing fast A5.

Though there have been many rumors about a possible 4 inch touch screen, but it looks like Apple is sticking to its previous screen size. Another speculation is that the screen will be stretched out further across the device’s frame so shrinking the border around the display and allowing for as much as a .5 inch increase in viewing area.

Generally, this is not a bad deal, and can be the best choice for a good user-friendly and easy-tasking smartphone. According to a couple of reports, the iPhone 4S is believed to be launched in the 9th-15th October period.

Apple is quietly denying requests for employee vacations during the second week of October, hinting that the company currently anticipates an influx of customers to its stores around that time related to availability of its new iOS 5 and fifth-generation iPhone products.

More specifically, the iPhone maker has in some locations blacked out vacation time for employees from October 9th through 12th and October 14th through 15th, according to people familiar with the matter.

So the blacked out time October 9 till October 12 could be the time when iOS 5 and the iCloud is released, while the 14-15 October vacation blackout can be explained as the release of the much awaited iPhone 5.

After the resignation of Steve Jobs, new CEO of Apple Tim Cook will be on stage this time to unveil iPhone 5.

This pic found its way to the web through a US company, Case-Mate, who leaked it to the web claiming it to be the much awaited iPhone 5. While some sources say, that this pic could be just bluff based on the rumors of iPhone 5 designs to get publicity. Now, this pic has been removed from their site. From descriptions I’ve heard of the new iPhone from Apple employees, the images seemed potentially authentic. But it seems that Case-Mate might be sneakily trying to take advantage of the excitement over the phone by posting and then unposting the images. These things rarely happen accidentally, especially when it comes to new Apple products.

But Linux Project is being ported on modern A4 based devices by Patrick and et al. The trick involves copying a .mov video file into /var/mobile/ folder of your iPhone. The step by step method is as follows:

Step 1: Make your video and convert into .mov format using any free Video Converter that supports .mov files. The file name should be “Demo.mov” (without quotes).

Step 2: Jailbreak your iPhone if it is not already jailbroken. If your device is running on iOS 4.3.3 or you have iPad 2, you will have to use JailbreakMe 3.0 to jailbreak your device. The devices running on any previous iOS version can be jailbroken with Redsnow.

Step 3: Now either use SSH method or iFile method to transfer the Demo.mov file into /var/mobile/ folder on your iPhone. The former method has already been posted here in details. iFile method seems simpler than SSH method but it requires your PC and iPhone connected with each other on the same WiFi connection.

To use the iFile method, download iFile from Cydia Store after jailbreaking your device.

Go to iFile preferences and turn on the Web Server. Type a username of your choice and password and press the Done option on top right corner.

When you are prompted for username and password, type the same which you entered during iFile’s web server set up.

The screenshots of the app captured running on iPhone 4 device indicate that the app will be very similar to Google + android app which is already available for Android users.

The native android app is very functional without any mess. When you open the app, you find five icons labelled as Stream, Huddles, Photos, Profile and Circles. At the bottom of the app you find Notifications area which shows the number of notifications you received from your last visit.
