Another good news that has come out of the MIX 2011 is that Angry Birds for Windows Phone 7 will be available for download starting May 25 as Microsoft had promised earlier in the year.This was one piece of news for which Windows Phone 7 users were anxiously waiting for. Angry Birds is the biggest gaming phenomenon on smartphones and has conquered every platform due to its unique physics oriented nature and addictive gameplay.
In the recent past we have seen some screenshots of Windows 8 but this is the first time Windows App Store images get leaked. Chinese site cnBeta claims that these images are real and the Store will be shipped in the first public build of Windows 8.
There are also reports that Windows App Store has passed internal tests and now it is being beta-tested both internally and externally.
Today Adobe releases a new software codenamed Wallaby that allows developers and designers to convert the flash based content into HTML5. As you know that iOS based devices i.e., iPhone, iPod and iPad do not support flash content, so with this app developers can actually make their content compatible with Safari and other browsers which can’t run flash content.

The launching ceremony regarding “The Daily” is still going on in New York but the app is now available for download free from the app store.
The Daily will feature fresh content including news articles, photos, and videos designed for iPad. You can download ‘The Daily’ app and use it free fro two weeks but after 2 weeks it will cost mere 14 cents per day, 99 cents a week, $40 per year for the actual content as subscription fees.

Apple’s App Store is about to cross another milestone. Nearly ten billion apps have been downloaded from the App Store worldwide. On this special occasion Apple is giving a US $10,000 iTunes Gift Card to that person who downloads the ten billionth app.
One can also enter this contest just by filling out a form, without downloading an app from the store. The prize will be awarded for the entry (either through an app download or through the non-purchase online entry) sent immediately following the download of the 9,999,999,999th app.
Microsoft Office has released its first official “Microsoft Office OneNote” app for iPhone, iPad and devices. This app is available immediately in Apple’s App Store.
OneNote lets you create, edit and view lists and notes on your idevice. It also allows you to synchronize your data with free Windows Online storage and access them from anywhere using your PC or iPhone.

Wikileaks App for iPad and iPhone, which was approved last week, has been removed by Apple from App Store. Wikileaks app gave the instant access to top-secret and confidential government documents on the screen of your phone.
Techcrunch contacted Apple and the developer for the app to comment, but so far only the developer has responded saying that the Apple has changed the status of the app to “Removed From Sale”.
Everyone was expecting it and finally iBooks v 2.1 is now available for download. The new version features a new Collection functionality to organize books and PDFs and AirPrint support.
iBooks 2.1 automatically hyphenates text to create more space for words on one page, however this feature is available for those idevices which are running on iOS 4.2 or later.
