Jailbreak is a process, performed usually by a software, which gives us root access to the device. After a device is jailbroken, we can install third party apps, games, themes and different other tweaks which are not allowed/available in the Apple’s official App Store.
P0sixninja, an iOS hacker from Chronic-Dev.Org, who developed a jailbreak tool “GreenpoisOn” for iPad which was never released, just updated its blog about the upcoming jailbreak for iOS 4.1 to keep the users calm down.
Though nothing is mentioned about the release date of jailbreak, but these few lines will definitely raise the satisfaction level among iPhone lovers:

It is being expected that tomorrow Apple will reveal the details, release date and shipment date of new iPod Touch 4/4G . But interestingly a jailbroken iPod Touch 4 is already available on eBay. This also indicates that the new version of iPod will be running on iOS 4.0.1, which is jailbreakable version, instead of iOS 4.0.2.
