What is jailbreak certificate and when will it expire?

Certificate is a digital stamp, issued by Apple servers, required to sign the jailbreak app. Only after the successful binding of the certificate with the jailbreak app, the installation can begin.

When the certificate expires, the jailbreak app stops working. In that case, you have to renew the certificate using Cydia Impactor. The method of renewing certificate is same just like installing the fresh Yalu jailbreak on your phone which is mentioned below.

Step by step Yalu jailbreak method:

Step 1. Download the latest version of Cydia Impactor by going to this official website. Install it only from this site because it hosts the latest version of the tool. If you download it from any other website, you may get the older version which might not work in your case.

Step 2: Download Yalu IPA file from here.

Step 3: Unzip Cydia Impactor downloaded in step 1 and launch the application.

Step 4: Connect your device with the PC using the USB cable.

Step 5: Cydia Impactor will recognize your device.

Step 6: Now either click on Device -> Install Package and navigate to the download Yalu IPA file or drag and drop the downloaded IPA file into Cydia Impactor.

Step 7: When asked for Apple ID and password by Cydia Impactor, enter credentials.

Step 8: Wait till Yalu jailbreak app appears on your iPhone or iPad home screen.

Step 9: Disconnect your device and go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Manage or General > Device management and tap on Trust and then Trust again on the certificate.

Step 10: Launch the Yalu jailbreak app. You may get some pop-ups like this app can slow down your device, or the device storage is almost full, simply ignore them and tap on Go to continue.

Step 11: After the above step, the Cydia icon will show up on the home-screen of your iPhone or iPad. If it doesn’t appear after the first attempt, try the previous step again.

Your device is now jailbroken. Launch Cydia and install your favorite tweaks, apps, games and themes.

    There were so many errors while jailbreaking from Yalu Jailbreak. So I tried with a no PC Jailbreak method instead of using the PC Jailbreak method. No Cydia Impactor, No PC, and No Apple ID. You also try it from Silzee Jailbreak.
