“Galaxy” seems to be a lucky word for Samsung. After introducing android based Galaxy series smartphones the company has added two new devices to its Galaxy Tab series and these are Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Redesigned) and Galaxy Tab 8.9.
Unveiled at the CTIA 2011 Galaxy 10.1 and 8.9 tabs are world’s thinnest tablets (just 8.6mm thin) and run on Android 3.0 (HoneyComb).
Though Samsung announced Galaxy Tab 10.1 last month at the Mobile World Congress but after the launch of iPad 2 the company has redesigned the 10.1 tablet to make it even thinner than iPad 2.
