The Chronic Dev Team has finally provided us all the information about GreenpoisOn i.e., its release date, it will be tethered or untethered, and what devices will be supported. posixninja, the member of Chronic Dev Team, has confirmed the ETA of Greenpoison jailbreak for iOS 4.1 and it will be released on 10/10/10 at 10:10:10AM. Here is the screenshot of his tweet:
Now it has been confirmed that GreenPoison jailbreak on iOS 4.1 will be untethered.
However, for upcoming iOS 4.2 the Greenpoison jailbreak will be tethered.
This part of news is bad for some user and good for others. GreenPoison will support only 4th generation iDevices i.e., iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G and iPad. The users having older versions of iDevices will have to wait little longer as Comex is working on new jailbreak for iPhone 3GS.
