Once your Apple TV2 is jailbroken, installing nitoTV app is very simple. All you have to do is to follow the below mentioned steps. This method is for Mac users only. Windows users will have to wait a little longer until and unless Snowbreeze 2.1 is released (released now).

Step 1: SSH into Apple TV2. If you asked for IP, use appletv.local and it will work in most cases.
Step 2: Type the password “alpine”. Enter the new password if you haven’t already set one.
Step 3: Type: echo “deb http://apt.awkwardtv.org ./” > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/awkwardtv.list
Step 4: Type: apt-get update
Step 5: Type: apt-get install com.nito.nitoTV
Step 6: Type: killall Lowtide
