Official Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0.3 is getting more and more time to reach the android population. Samsung’s best android smartphone Galaxy S II i9100 is also waiting for Over the Air 4.0.3 update. However, the official roms of this new version are now available which can be installed / flashed on Samasung Galaxy S II easily.

The Australia and UK region devices are already unlocked, so those device can get ICS 4.0.3 without applying any extra method. Step 1: Downloading the Files
First of all download the required files. If you are running UK and Ireland Galaxy S II, download I9100XWLP7 and if you are in Australia, download I9100XWLP8 version. Now open Odin which you will find in the downloaded bundle.
Step 2: Erasing the Data
Now we have to wipe the cache and reset the factory data. For this purpose enable the “USB Debugging” by going to Settings -> Applications ->Development. Now simultaneously press the Home + Volume Up + Power buttons to activate the recovery mode. First select Wipe Data/Fatory Reset and then under advanced tab select Wipe Data. Now go to step 3.
Step 3: Installing the ICS 4.0.3 ROM
Remove the battery and back it in again. Now press the Power + Volume Down + Home button at the same time to activate the Download Mode. Now open the Odin and click on PDA. Browse to the downloaded file having the extension .tar.md5. Click on “Start” and wait to finish the process.
After the process completes, you’ll have Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 running on Ice Cream Sandwich android 4.0.3.
