According to BGR’s sources Apple has finalized the code of iOS 4.3 internally for iPhone, iPod, iPad, AppleTV and iPad 2.
The sources claim iOS 4.3 has hit the golden master stage and is ready to be released, further suggesting it could make its public debut sometime within the next week.
Apple has already sent out invitations for March 2 Media Event to unveil iPad 2 and it is being expected that iOS 4.3 will go public at ( or shortly after ) this event.
One of our Apple sources has just informed us that it looks like Apple has finalized the code for its upcoming iOS 4.3 release. The build, we’re told, is 8F190 for those keeping track. Maybe we’ll see this release unify the Verizon iPhone OS-wise as well? We’ll probably see this in the wild next week if we had to bet…
In addition to bug fixes and performance improvements, iOS 4.3 will also bring some new features like personal WiFi hotspot, enhanced support for AirPlay video streaming etc.
iOS 4.3 final version will also include the patches for all existing jailbreak exploits. So if you rely on unlock or want to keep your iPhone/iPad jailbroken, don’t upgrade your device to this version until iPhone Dev Team or Chronic Dev Team comes up with new working jailbreak.
