Apple has just released iOS 6.1.2 through Over-the-Air Updater for devices to fix exchange calendar bug. Currently the roll-out is very slow and you might not see it right now. After few hours it will be available for all users and even through iTunes.
The official change says that it fixes an Exchange Calendar bug that could result in increased network activity and reduced battery life.
The fact is the recently released iOS 6.1 contained many bugs like lingering cellular and battery issues with iPhone 4S, passcode bug and Exchange bug.
The resolve the cellular connectivity and battery problems for iPhone 4S users, Apple pushed out iOS 6.1.1 last week. But today’s firmware update is universal, meaning all the devices will be able to get it.
Till now there is now confirmatory note from official sources whether passcode bug is fixed or not in today’s release. We are updating our devices to this firmware and would keep you updated what is changed in it.
There is a very important note from evad3rs team for all those users who want to keep the jailbreak preserved and that is they should not install this update until the team gives a positive response and rolls out a new version of evasi0n to support it.
