Apple released iOS 6.0beta3 today for developers only which contains a high ratio of bug fixes instead of new features. And on the other hand iPhone Dev Team’s MuscleNerd has also released Redsn0w 0.9.13dev3 with iOS 6.0b3 jailbreak support. The new version adds the explicit support for both iOS 6 beta 2 and beta 3. It means we don’t need to point Redsnow to older betas to jailbreak this new version.

As usual dev3 release is meant for developers only who want to remove the bugs from their apps and want to make the apps ready for iOS 6 public release. Just like the previous redsnow dev release, this one will also not install Cydia. Some official/stock apps will not work on this jailbreak too. Please head over to this previous post which tells us who should/should not use Redsn0w 0.9.13 and what is broken after jailbreak.
How to Jailbreak iOS 6b3 with Redsn0w 0.9.13 dev3:
If you have ever used Redsn0w to jailbreak any iOS version, you won’t find any thing different in this version. First of all click on “Extras” and then use “Select iPSW” feature. Point the dev3 version to iOS 6b3. Now go to main screen and click on “Jailbreak” feature which will require you to put your device into DFU mode before the actual process. After your device is jailbreak, boot it tethered using the “Just Boot” in redsnow extras. The complete step by step jailbreak process can be found in this post which also tells us who to install Cydia on iOS 6 beta unofficially.
