LockScreen Settings Tweak Hides the Clock and Unlock Slider to Show Full Size Screen Saver on iPhone

Recently I was reading few articles on different tech blogs about the future of jailbreak. They all were agreed at one point that jailbreak is losing its charm and some of them were even saying that it’s now dead.

There is no doubt that Apple has implemented many favourite tweaks in the latest iOS release in some way or other. But even now there are many tweaks and apps due to which users want to break the security shell around the operating system. Today’s released LockSreen Settings is one of them.

Few minutes ago I refreshed the Cydia store and found this new little app. As soon as I installed it on my iPhone, it became one of my favourite app.

LockScreen Settings hides the big Clock from the lock screen. It also hides “Slide to Unlock” slidebar. These two options, when enabled, allow us to show the full screen saver on the lock-screen. It is to be noted that it does not totally remove Clock and Slidebar, but only hides. You can still unlock your device using the slider method which is hidden though.

To compensate for the clock, we can enable the status-bar clock and add small date. All these settings can be enabled / disabled through the options added to Settings.app.

This app, however, does not allow the notifications to take the full screen-saver advantage. The notifications will still appear in their usual allocated space and area.

LockScreen Settings tweak is compatible with all jailbroken iPhone models running on iOS 5 or higher. You can get it from Cydia store after updating the BigBoss repo.
