Last week Apple released iOS 4.3 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices and as you know once you have updated your device to this new version, you can’t restore to previous iOS version.
iOS downgrading is possible only if you have SHSH blobs saved on cydia server for iOS to which you are downgrading. So if you have already saved SHSH blobs for iOS 4.2.1, you can restore to iOS 4.2.1 easily.
The only problem which you face after downgrading iOS 4.3 to iOS 4.2.1 is Recovery Loop. Every time you turn on the iDevice you see “Connect to iTunes” image on it and when you connect it to PC, iTunes recognizes recovery mode on your device instead of activating it.
It has been confirmed by DjayB6, the developer of unofficial PwnageTool bundles, that the just released iOS 4.3 final and public version can be jailbroken using existing version of PwnageTool and unofficial PwnageTool bundles
It is to be noted that iOS 4.3 jailbreak using these unofficial PwnageTool bundles is tethered. So you have to connect your device with PC for successful reboot.
Apple has finally released iOS 4.3 public and final version for iPhone (4 and 3GS), iPad (Generation 1 and 2), iPod Touch (3G and 3GS) and Apple TV. You are required to be running the latest iTunes 10.2.1 version on your Mac or Windows in order to update your device to this version.
iOS 4.3 brings some cool features like Personal Hotspot for iPhone 4 (GSM), Home Sharing, better browsing experience and more. Here is the complete official changelog for iOS 4.3.
Apple has just released iOS 4.3 public version for all idevices excluding iPhone 3G. Earlier we were told by Steve at iPad 2 Media event that it would be released on March 11 but it is now available for download.
From last two days rumors are spreading around the web that Apple might release 64GB iPhone 4 in next iPhone update. Though MIC has managed to get a real prototype of iPhone 4 64GB but it is yet to be confirmed whether 64GB space will be provided in next iPhone 4 upgrade or it will be an exclusive feature of iPhone 5.
The device shares many physical characteristics of the lost Gizmodo iPhone 4 prototype which was also labeled with “XXGB” Other similarities include no “+” or “-” signs on the volume buttons and no silver ring around the lens.
We have got a good news for all those iPhone 4 users who want to update their devices to iOS 4.3 GM release while keeping unlockable state.
Yesterday iH8sn0w released unofficial PwnageTool bundles to jailbreak iPhone 4, iPad and iPod Touch 3G/4G on iOS 4.3GM. It has been confirmed now that these bundles do not upgrade the baseband on iPhone 4.
Today Adobe releases a new software codenamed Wallaby that allows developers and designers to convert the flash based content into HTML5. As you know that iOS based devices i.e., iPhone, iPod and iPad do not support flash content, so with this app developers can actually make their content compatible with Safari and other browsers which can’t run flash content.
You can watch the video of the software after the break.
iOS 4.3 GM jailbreak on iPad and iPhone 3GS (for both old bootrom and new bootrom) is now possible using the unofficial PwnageTool bundles. The bundles to jailbreak iPhone 4 on iOS 4.3 GM are already available and we have posted the complete step by step jailbreak process for iPhoen 4 in our previous post.
This time we are going to share the method to jailbreak iPad and iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.3.
Few hours ago Apple rolled out iOS 4.3 GM 8F190 Build to developers. But as usual the jailbreak community has managed to develop a new PwnageTool bundle to support semi-untethered jailbreak on iPhone 4 running on iOS 4.3 GM.
As mentioned above it is a semi-untethered jailbreak, so you have to connect your iPhone 4 with PC for a successful reboot. This jailbreak process is very useful for developers who want to test their apps before the release of iOS 4.3 public version.
