As you know Pangu is released by a Chinese team to jailbreak iOS 8.1 – iOS8 versions for Windows users only, but it doesn’t mean you can’t use it on your Mac computer by any mean. Here are few methods you can try to run Pangu on Mac.
We have got information from a team member who is directly involved in the development of Pangu that the Mac version is being developed along with a version in English language too.
If you have been following the jailbreak scene from past few years, you may know well that there was a Mac version of every jailbreak tool. In some cases only Mac version was released at first stage and later on Windows and Linux versions were rolled out. But this time the tradition has changed.
How to Use Windows on Mac machine for Pangu Jailbreak
If you don’t have access to Windows machine right now but you want to jailbreak iOS 8.1 on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, here are few options you can use to install Pangu on your Mac computer. Of course, you have to first install the Windows on the computer and then use the tool.
Option 1: Bootcamp
This method is one of my favorites as it is easy, fast and without any bugs. It is the official software released by Apple to let the Windows lovers to install Windows 7 or Windows 8 on your computer. Another thing which makes this option on top list is that all the drivers and backend software are already included in Bootcamp. It also allows you to create a partition on your Mac Hard drive so that all the Windows related stuff is placed in a separate portion. Later, if you decide to remove Windows, you can do it by simply deleting the partition and everything gone.
First download bootcamp from Apple’s official site and get either Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. Microsoft provides us 90 days free trial period with full features for Windows 8.1 Enterprise Edition. This time is more than enough to jailbreak your all iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch models.

Option 2: Parallels Desktop 9
Parallels Desktop 9 is another popular solution to install Windows on your Mac machine. However, this app is not free but you can get 14-days period to use the app with full features. It provides very simple solution to install Windows. Simply download Parallels, install it and then point it to the downloaded Windows 8.1 ISO file.
Option 3: Virtual Box
This software is also very popular to use Windows on Mac environment. It is free to install and use.

How to Use Pangu Windows Version on Mac:
After you have successfully setup Windows on Mac machine, simply download Pangu and follow the instructions mentioned in our previous post. Make it sure you have installed the latest version of iTunes first before you use Pangu.
Note: if your are having problems installing windows 8 on parallels, and you are getting this error message, “Windows cannot find the Microsoft Software License Terms. Make sure the installation sources are valid and restart the installation,” make sure to uncheck the box for express installation. That seems to fix this issue.
