Steve Job’s First Image After Resignation

It came as a shock for Apple lovers that Steve Jobs (the pioneer of Apple) resigned on this Wednesday. The reason of his resignation was given that he was ill, which is no surprise seeing that he has suffered from a pancreatic cancer and has had to abandon his post as CEO quite frequently for medical reasons. But according to some rumors he was forced to resign because of his plans for a cheaper iphone 4 and some other technical reasons. Tim Cook got the top post instead, and has become the CEO of Apple.

According to some images leaked on the web, it now seems true that Jobs resigned because of poor health. In this picture, the founder of Apple looks seriously ill. Here have a look at this.

It will be a blow for the Apple fans and supporters to see the person who brought Apple up to this level,  becoming history infront of them. Though Steve Jobs has taken the less functional role as the chairman of the board, it does not look like he would be able to continue his role.

Here I want to add a small paragraph from the Commencement Address delivered by Steve Jobs at Stanford University on June 12, 2005. You can read the whole speech here.

No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

There is no doubt that Steve Jobs is ill. It’s heartbreaking to watch. But worse, to see this get posted first on TMZ shows that a site like that has no shame – exploitation for material gain is their MO.

While there is little doubt that Steve is perhaps in an advanced state of pancreatic cancer, a careful look at the photo suggests some Photoshopping to amplify things, which is truly in poor taste at best.

Let Steve live his life in peace and dignity. He has given the world far too much to be treated with disrespect. I say that not as a fanboy (I will say the same thing for his business rivals) but as someone who feels that someone at his stage of life deserves some peace, and for the sake of his family.
