Ultrasnow 1.2.3 Released to Unlock iOS 4.3.3 [Current Unlockers Only]

Ultrasn0w 1.2.3, along with Pwnagetool 4.3.3 and Redsn0w 0.9.6rc15, is available from now to unlock iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS running on custom iOS 4.3.3. Ultrasn0w 1.2.3 does not support any new baseband but it provides solution to all those users who are still on unlockable baseband to update their devices to iOS 4.3.3 in which many bugs, esp location tracking issue, are fixed.

Ultrasnow 1.2.3 works on these basebands (01.59.00, 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, 06.15.00) . The basebands which are still locked include 02.10.04, 03.10.01, 04.10.01, 05.14.02, 05.15.04.

Please read the following two points before updating your device to iOS 4.3.3 and applying Ultrasn0w unlock:

  1. ultrasn0w unlockers must stay away from redsn0w!  Use only a custom IPSW to update to 4.3.3, to avoid updating your baseband. There are plenty of tutorials for both redsn0w and PwnageTool at sites like shoutpedia.  Or feel free to ask away in our comments section below.
  2. ultrasn0w has been updated to v1.2.3 to be compatible with iOS 4.3.3 and earlier (the ultrasn0w update does not include any new baseband support!). Please reboot your iPhone using the normal “slide to power off” swipe after installing ultrasn0w 1.2.3.
