Watch Live Streaming of iPad Mini Event Free

It seems Apple is going to live stream the media event, which is about to begin within next few hours, for Apple TV users. A new icon is now available on ATV screen with the name of “Apple Events”. It is still unclear whether Apple will also live stream this event on its website or not. [Update: Watch on website too]

About two years have passed when Apple broadcasted the “Back to Mac” event live in 2010. Since then live-streaming is restricted and no one, neither from any official source nor any third-party can provide the live action of Apple big bangs.

If you don’t have Apple TV, you can follow the updates in the form of image and texts through some live-blogging sites like Engadget and the Verge. You can read the more details and exact time of iPad Mini Event in our previous post.

Some people are looking for a hack to extract the streaming link from the Apple TV and stream it then through a third-party player. If we or any one from our readers get the method, we will publish it here as soon as possible.

One more thing, we are not sure this Apple Events icon is visible for non-US users or not. If you live outside US and you see this icon, please share your relative location in the comments below.

Update:

Apple is now also allowing the users having Safari on Mac OS X and Safari on iOS 4.3 or later to stream this event. So if you fit in the criteria, just go to Apple Events page on Apple website to stream the event live when it starts.
